Details

Obsidian is a CMP porcelain rebated pool coping for pool surrounds, patios and outdoor living areas. Porcelain is dense, hard-wearing and low maintenance, and every CMP tile and coping carries a minimum R11 slip rating for exterior use.

Size: 600(A) x 300 x 35/18mm (rebated coping, 20mm thick body)
Material: CMP porcelain
Slip rating: R11 minimum (exterior)
Pricing: Priced per piece, including GST.

Why a 3-piece mitred drop face? Our porcelain rebated copings use a 3-piece mitred drop face, originally designed and developed by Clive Pegden of SSL Distributors and now used on pools around the world.

Strength and durability: each drop face is bonded with three points of epoxy adhesion. This is far superior to a single bonded face, which can fail over time and lead to faces coming away from the coping.
Waterjet cut: every mitre is precision waterjet cut for tight, clean joints. The front edge is finished with a slight bevel, so it is comfortable to sit on and easy on the hands when getting in and out of the pool.
Traditional 40mm overhang: the full 40mm front edge overhangs the pool to help stop water splashing up and over the coping.

Pairs with the matching Obsidian 600 x 600 porcelain tile for a continuous finish from pool edge to paving. The sizes listed are stock sizes. Custom sizes are available as a special order (70% non-refundable deposit).
